Morvin Photography is a full service photo and publishing company.
Our photography is represented by Age Fotostock. We also sell custom
prints of our work to clients. Our photo stock bases have close
to 12,000 images. I am in the process of reshooting most of our
work in digital format as it is easier to store and produce.
As for manipulation at the camera
end, I occasionally use polarizer and ND filters. Skylight filters
above 10,000 feet. I try to share with the public what I see without
the over saturization that is common. I believe in realism in my
work. At the computer end after I do the primary edit then Terri
uses Photoshops for color saturation, cropping and cloning.
My publishing arm is where the
Einstein series comes to life. Terri does all the primary graphic
design, picture selection and layout. Libby is my managing editor.
She has the final say on grammer and layout. I, being a guy with
little sense about the what to put where, get the final say on wording.
After all the creative work is
finished, the books are put into a format that goes directly to
a printer. It is awesome to see a book go to print after months
of shooting, writing, layout and editing. It's even more exhilirating
to getting the final, printed version of the book back.
